Swimming has begun in Dubrovnik on Banja Beach! The Croatian season normally begins at the start of May but despite being a little bit early, a group of Italian tourists started the swimming season with gusto at Banja Beach, next to the Old Town of Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is starting to get busy, with Easter on our doorstep, and many tourists are already in the area enjoying the mild climate and wonderful medieval old town and surroundings - excursions are popular right now with many tpurists venturing to Montenegro and Mostar on day trips. The sunny weather and calm seas are a great start to the season and the sea temperature, which is around 15 degrees Celsius, gives tourists another option for how to spend their time!
